This lesson approaches the prompt of how to draw a proportionate, realistic portrait of a person of your choice. This will be looking at a drawing from straight-ahead, with some tips to draw 3/4 view and profile view, but mostly focusing on straight-ahead.

Suggested materials to bring: a sketchbook, pencil or mechanical pencil, shading pencil (4B, 6B, or 8B,) and an eraser. Any brand is fine.
